King of Pop’s Patented Move
A bit of timely patent trivia: Michael Jackson was an inventor. He co-invented a Method and Means for Creating Anti-Gravity Illusion. See U.S. Patent No. 5,255,452. This patented move was used in his music video for the song Smooth Criminal.

His patent expired before he did, for failure to pay the 3rd maintenance fee. Had the 12 year maintenance fee been paid, the ‘452 patent would have outlasted him by almost exactly three years.
